Second Shift Dinosaurs – Single

Marek Rzeczkowski, originally from Warsaw, Poland, is the driving force behind King Poyaviack, a group of talented Polish, British, and American musicians known for their spontaneous, fully improvised performances. Their music, blending orchestral jazz and progressive rock, is unlike anything else out there, offering a raw, organic sound that’s captivating live audiences in New York City and New Jersey. The group was formed alongside fellow Polish musicians Michał Sczcerba and Maciek Miernik, and has since featured an ever-changing lineup of European musicians. Despite the shifting roster, Marek has remained the core member, present in every single recording. His weapon of choice? The electric guitar and bass, which he uses to craft bold, unpredictable soundscapes. King Poyaviack pays homage to the legendary British progressive rock band, King Crimson, and their name itself is a playful twist on a made-up Polish word loosely meaning “King of Appearances.” Their genre-defying performances have included gigs at iconic venues like CBGBs in Manhattan, where they built a loyal following of fans drawn to their unique approach to music.
